I was talking to Tom about a movie which I definitely want to share with you.
"Window of the Soul" is a Brazilian documentary on blindness where they explore vision and perception by interviewing artists.
I watched it for the first time in college and a couple more after. It is so touching, so good and so inspiring. I really recommend to everyone.
It is available on youtube in very good resolution (just click on "CC", on the bottom right of the screen just next to the comments icon, to get the english subtitles) click here to watch
And this is a nice and brief article about the movie click here to read
Tom,
The skin close-up scene I told you about is the first/opening scene. The camera "flies" poetically over this skin, which is not beautiful or perfect or anything at first sight, but then it become this incredible trip on sensations like you could close your eyes and really feel it.
