MARIA, this is very important. You want to talk about FEELINGS! But you are drawing FACES...you do not want to talk about faces! So focus on the feelings and draw ANY object (faces, animals, plants, whatever!)...but show what you feel about them through materials. Almost all of your inspirations are showing the materials MORE than the image.
Consider making really fantastic TEXTURES from materials, pick your colors carefully (so far most of them are rainbow like, that doesn't make sense if you want to show deeper emotions (so we have to work on color), and then have an object you want to work from that inspires the composition- glue the textures together so that they are collaged into a final image.
Make sure you STUDY the compositions you admire!!! Right now all your sketches are right in the middle surrounded by simple or blank backgrounds. Consider what the ENVIRONMENT says about the subject you are addressing.
Also, remember what I said about a card with a heart meaning love. It's not very personal. So consider what LOVE has meant to you....to YOU!! What objects, places, and people mean HAPPY or SAD and show us THOSE!
